![]() Detect Magic I mostly considered so that I could get past alarm spells. Find Familiar is a also a classic, letting me get advantage on my attacks and offering good scouting options. Shield is of course a lifesaver, with my already not bad AC I could have a pretty good protection. While I could grab two of those with Ritual Caster, I doubt I'll take it anytime soon since we have a bunch of ritual casters in the party (two druids and a wizard). Prestidigitation is just a very fun cantrip and vert thematic for my character, who was an wizard's apprentice. Message & Minor Illusion are incredible for the scout of the group: They provide both distraction and a way to signal to the party. Boomming blade might be a tiny bit more useful for a hit&run playstyle, but GFB looks way cooler. Here are my unsure options for my cantrips and unrestricted spells:īoth of the Blade spells are useful, I guess I could do with just one, but I can't choose. Illusions and enchantments of 1st level seem pretty bad. I'll be going to level 3 soon, and my spells give me a headache. My character is a High Elf, with stats as follow at level 2: I plan to use both a longbow and a rapier. I am considering asking my DM if I can take other schools than Enchantment & Illusion, but in the meantime I'll use those to plan. I'm very happy about it, but I need help choosing my spells & feats. So I finally got to play a rogue, and on top of that it's an arcane trickster. ![]() Megathread D&D 5e 1D&D D&D 4e D&D v3.5 D&D 3e Pathfinder 1 Pathfinder 2 WOD PBTA Fate GURPS Universal Other r/DnD /r/rpg /r/Pathfinder_RPG /r/tabletop /r/UnearthedArcana /r/DnDHomebrew /r/dndnext Related Non-TTRPG Subreddits r/characterdrawing /r/Imaginar圜haracters /r/alternativeart On-Topic Subreddits
